The Calgary Flames defeated the Anaheim Ducks 5-4 on Sunday after pulling off an exciting comeback victory. The third period’s two goals from Milan Lucic and Michael Stone proved crucial in the game. Tyler Toffoli had two assists, and Nick Ritchie, Andrew Mangiapane, and Nikita Zadorov all scored one goal for the Flames. This way flames add to ducks for eight game losing streak.
For the Flames, Jacob Markstrom started the game, but was later replaced by Dan Vladar after allowing two goals on nine shots. In the latter two periods, Vladar rose to the occasion and made 11 saves to give Calgary the victory.

The Flames have now won four straight games, a season-high, and they are still two points behind Winnipeg for the second Western Conference wild card slot. Yet, despite the efforts of Frank Vatrano, Max Comtois, and Scott Harrington, who each scored one goal, the Ducks lost for the eighth time in a row.
Nevertheless, the Flames’ perseverance paid off, and their capacity to overturn a deficit is evidence of their tenacity and camaraderie. The group will try to build on this momentum as they continue their pursuit of a playoff position.
