The Utah Jazz lost to the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday by a score of 111-110, bringing their losing skid in their previous seven games to six games. The Jazz do have some good news, though, as Markkanen accomplished an amazing achievement for himself. In a single season, he became the only player in NBA history to record both 100 dunks and 200 triples.
His flexibility as a player and his capacity to shine both in the paint and beyond the arc are shown by this outstanding accomplishment.

This feat is exceptional since no other player in the 76-year history of the league has accomplished it.
Although Markkanen’s accomplishment is admirable, it does not change the reality that the Jazz are now 1.5 games back of the Play-In slot in the Western Conference, and their chances of making the playoffs are bleak. The Jazz have struggled and run the risk of having yet another underwhelming season despite a good start.
The Jazz fans should anticipate more of Markkanen’s great performances next season, ideally with a better supporting group in front of him, despite the fact that he has had a tremendous season.
