Stan Moody, a brilliant 16-year-old snooker player, has added to the anticipation around his possible future in the sport by winning his first match in the World Championship Qualifiers. In Sheffield, he defeated Estonian professional Andres Petrov 10-7. Although Petrov produced breaks of 101, 78, 65, 59, and 54 during the match, Moody had numerous amazing breaks of 110, 90, 86, 72, 59, and 54. Zhang Anda and Moody will now compete in the following round of qualifying.
After defeating Petrov, Moody expressed his happiness and relief, saying how much it meant to him and how all his effort and hard work had paid off. He acknowledged that he was under pressure to cross the finish line, but he was still able to maintain his composure.

Moody stated that now that the burden of winning his first game is off, he could feel more at ease during his forthcoming encounter versus Zhang.
Nigel Moody, Moody’s father, has been a crucial component of Team Stan, but former world champion Shaun Murphy has also contributed significantly to the development of the young player.
